keeping it (color) simple

It’s been a snoozy Saturday with the exception of dinner with a friend and hubster at a food joint close to my area.
Hope you’re having a good weekend 🙂

Look for the evening :

Emerald green top with eyelet embellishments at the sleeve (local store), printed green & black skinny jeans (ASOS), straw ballet flats (Bata).

Accessorised with a long beaded necklace (Diva), gold plated leaf pendant with chain (Etsy), small straw handbag (local store).

This isn’t an entirely monotone (not to be mistaken with monotonous!!) look but it’s a start, Im actually more accustomed to this one-colour style than colour blocking. It took me a while to figure out which colours would go well for my skin tone, figure, style sense.

Ending this post with a few single-color looks that caught my eye. As you have seen in the photographs, prints are fashioned in monotone as well. But you don’t have to go uniform from head to toe, a pop of colour with your accessories isn’t a crime 😉

Well that’s me for tonight. Sick patient needs her rest. Be kind to one another xx
